Umble's Mill

Abraham Zook built a fulling mill here in 1812. Joseph Zook converted it to a carding mill in 1828. In 1852, it was part of the Beecher and Harnish foundry and machine shop. Emanuel Shober converted it to a paper mill in 1856. Benjamin Harnish built the current, brick building in 1870 and It served as a grist and flour mill into the early 20th century. Today it is used for storage.
