Aka Keener’s Mill

John Houtz (Pfoutz) built the first mill here in 1805. It became Keener’s mill when Joseph Keener bought it around 1840. David Heistand became the owner in 1905 and it remains today as part of the Heistand Brothers Truck and Auto Service Company.
