Aka Fruit Valley/Green Valley

Samuel Hawthorn built the first mill here as early as 1792. This was the only mill in Lancaster County where the house and mill were attached. The mill operated until 1935 when Frank Sides was killed in the machinery. The building suffered a fire and remained in a state of disrepair until it was refurbished into a private residence in 2009.
The mill is located at 150 Sides Mill Road, Strasburg, PA.
