Aka Breneman’s Mill

Lobata was the name of the old post office in nearby Stackstown. Melchior Breneman built a log mill here in about 1751. The current stone structure was built by Jacob & Catherine Breneman in 1797. The mill operated until 1943. Today it is part of the Nissley Vineyards.
The mill is located at 139 Shumaker Road, Bainbridge, PA.
