Jacob and Magdalena Kaufman built the first mill here in 1760. They enlarged the mill in 1800. The Conestoga Milling Company operated the mill in 1916 and then Jacob and Paul Flory took over in 1929. The Flory’s operated the mill until 1984 when it was destroyed by fire.
Later, it was restored as an office building and as a residence. The mill is located at 841 Flory Mill Road, Lancaster, PA. The website is https://florymill.com/.
