Denlinger’s Mill

Aka Stehman’s Mill

Denlingers Mill

The Denlinger mill is listed with the West Branch of the Little Conestoga because its dam was located at the mouth of the West Branch. The mill is sited along the Little Conestoga and its tail race emptied into that stream.

A mill existed here since 1792. The mill was owned and operated by H. H. Stehman in 1875 until it was destroyed by fire in 1895. Denlinger brothers, John, William, and Henry rebuilt the mill in 1899. It operated as a secondhand shop in 1969. It was converted to a private residence in 1974.

This mill is located at 401 Stehman Church Road, Millersville.
